Career Event:
Draw your PWOPL trainers taking on a career in the Pokemon world! Careers include:
Pokemon Center Nurse/Doctor
Gym Leader
Elite Four Member
Breeder
Contest Coordinator
Battle Frontier Brain
and many more!
You can draw them cosplaying as a canon character, or you can draw them as their own version of a career.
Prizes: 2,000P/hr, 2,000P/500 words.
Repeatable, and slightly retroactive; those who have already drawn/written about their trainers as gym leaders/career characters within the past day or two (I noticed a trend and decided to turn it into an event) will receive 2,000P.
Ends September 10th at Midnight.
INDIGO PLATEAU
So, Trainers. You’ve finally made it. You have progressed through Kanto, through each and every town and you have experienced good and bad events. You have made friends, enemies, and partnerships that will last a lifetime. And in some ways, you have learned new things every day and discovered many things about yourselves. Congratulations; you are now Seasoned Pokemon Trainers.
You now stand before Indigo Plateau.
There is room and board available for anyone who makes it out of Victory Road alive.
HOWEVER: Guards stand in front of the doors to face the Elite Four.
TRAINERS WITH UNDER EIGHT BADGES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE POKEMON LEAGUE CHALLENGE. No exceptions.
However, you still have time to do Speed Runs of all of the Gyms in Kanto. Simply look on Battle Expert’s profile for Gym and Level information.
EVENTS
Preparation Event: Illustrate your team preparing for the battle against the Elite Four and Champion. You will receive 2000P/hr or 2000P/700words.
Team Event has been Extended to Next Sunday, September 4.
Flashback Event: Draw/write about your character’s experienced and what they’ve learned throughout their journey in Kanto.
Rewards: 2000P/hr, 2000P/700words
Battle Expert will be posting Information on the Elite Four shortly.

Writers receive 100P per 100 words of writing; this is to ensure every member can earn Poke equally. Writing, like artwork, takes effort as well and it deserves to be rewarded in the same manner, so I feel that adding this is necessary.
Cheating will NOT be tolerated.
Important announcement, just for all of you to be in the clear:
There are users who keep tabs on everyone’s inventory here and report to me if they find anything suspicious.
If you cheat, you will get caught, and there will be consequences.
Examples of cheating include rare candies out of nowhere without working for them/matching them up with your pictures, and the same goes for money and Pokemon when it comes to events. There are also other instances of cheating; any of these will NOT be allowed and anyone caught cheating will be punished accordingly.
This comes to another clarification: Side characters.
SIDE CHARACTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BEGIN WITH CANON POKEMON. They are allowed to have ONE Pokemon for show, and it must be run by me for approval.
The Pokemon cannot be shiny, it cannot be a legendary, and it cannot be used in canon battles or be leveled up. It is ONLY for drawing and Roleplay purposes, unless you were to obtain that Pokemon or a pre-evolution of that Pokemon and turn it canon once fully evolved or at the desired stage.
You MAY, however, give CURRENT canon Pokemon to your side character or any Pokemon obtained from events in the present or future, and they may be used normally. (Example: Sacch was given several Pokemon from Kamun’s party because his party was overflowing.)
Anyone caught purposely making side characters with canon Pokemon will be subject to consequences.
TL;DR; Don’t cheat. Don’t be dishonest. You will get caught.
The sun sets on Viridian City and the trainers gather to head on towards the Pokemon League. Marching up the stairs, they reach a tall, gated area. The gate slowly opens before the mass of trainers, parting the way towards the Pokemon League…
This is Victory Road.
Known as the final test, Victory Road is extremely dangerous. News reports have shown trainers returning home injured and sick from attempted journeys, their Pokemon beaten and knocked out, completely robbed of money and items. ROCKETS are also said to lurk in the road.
The wild Pokemon in Victory Road are vicious. Trainers are advised to proceed with extreme caution- encounters with rare and possibly evolved Pokemon will not be easily conquered. If trainers fail to make it through Victory Road, they will be forced to flee the caverns and go home to recover…
Welcome to Victory Road, trainers. You’ve made it this far.
- ULTRA BALLS are now available in the shop. Pokemon encounters will be at surprising levels, so stock up if you want to catch any.
- TASKS will be given to trainers to progress through the TEN LEVELS of Victory Road. It may be in the form of a riddle, wild Pokemon encounter, trivia, or many other things…
- I strongly advise ALL of you to STAY IN GROUPS. Pokemon may ATTACK you if you are alone, regardless of how strong/weak you are, and you can possibly lose POKE and ITEMS!
- We will not move on to INDIGO PLATEAU until all 10 tasks are completed. Think of this as a mini-plot. Get working if you want to get out fast! One task will be posted once a day; so the minimum you will spend in Victory Road is 10 days.

Requirements:
YOU MUST BE ACTIVE. MUST MUST MUST. This is a LOT of work and if I don’t feel that you are active or cut out for it, you will not be hired.

Happiness Points
Egg Hatching
Updating teams as members mail them to you
Handing out items to people whose Pokemon have Max Happiness once in a while, not TOO often.
I will explain more.

NEW EVENTS
Trivia Event
Over the course of the next couple of days I will be posting trivia based on the trainers of PWOPL and past events that have happened. It will be either a quote that you have to match to someone, a question with a yes or no answer, or an open-ended answer. The first person to answer the Trivia correctly will receive THREE rare candies. No cheating, no sharing answers. You are allowed to backtrack and use creeper resources, however, to find the answers you need.
Cosplay Event
Draw your trainer(s) dressed up as a canon pokemon character, another PWOPL trainer, or cosplaying another thing entirely.
Rewards: 1 Event Token/Hr. 1 event token/500 words.
Commenting
I’ve noticed that less and less comments are going around on the oekaki. I will be watching people who are active commenters, and they will be rewarded for their efforts. This is event ends indefinitely, and will be an all-time thing. HOWEVER, do not comment more simply to be greedy! Do it for the good of the community.
ALL of these events, including the Childhood Events and the 2 other events from last week, will end Saturday at Midnight.
Other things:
EVERSTONES, INCUBATORS, and WARM BLANKETS are now available through the exchange for 7 feathers each. They are no longer available through fishing. Fisherman will also be posting a little announcement of his own soon.
